Storm damage

What Louisiana wind and hail actually do to a roof

After a named storm the visible damage is rarely the whole story. Wind lifts shingles and breaks the sealant strip without removing the shingle, so the roof looks intact from the ground and leaks at the next hard rain. Hail bruises the mat without cracking the surface. Both are real, both are claimable, and both need photographs taken from the roof to prove.

That is what our inspection produces: dated, geotagged photographs of every slope, the penetrations, the ridge and the attic underside, written up in plain language. If the damage is cosmetic or pre-existing wear, we tell you that too — filing a claim that gets denied costs you the deductible conversation and does nothing for your roof.

If the roof is open, tarping comes first. We carry material and can secure most homes the same day, which also protects you from the secondary interior damage adjusters discount.

Our process

How the work actually goes

  1. 1

    Call or request an inspection

We prioritise open roofs and active leaks over routine estimates.

  2. 2

    Document everything

Photos, measurements and attic findings, before anything is disturbed.

  3. 3

    Tarp if needed

We secure the roof so the damage stops growing while decisions get made.

  4. 4

    Repair or claim

We repair directly, or document the claim and meet the adjuster with you.

Financing

A new roof is a monthly number, not a lump sum

Most homeowners replace a roof once. Paying for it in one go is the part that stalls the decision, so we quote the monthly figure alongside the total and let you decide which one you're solving for.

Rates and terms come from our lending partner, we publish the real numbers once you've seen the estimate, never a teaser rate.

Typical replacement

$180–$320/mo

The wedge

Water got inside? We rebuild the interior too.

We are a licensed general contractor, so the same company that dries the structure rebuilds the ceiling, insulation and paint.

Questions

Answers before you call

Only if the damage is genuinely storm-caused and likely to exceed your deductible — which in Louisiana is often a percentage of the dwelling value, not a flat amount. We inspect first and tell you which it is. We never pressure a claim to sell a roof.
